The Noto cathedral reopens after 11 years

Seven years of reconstruction work were needed to return the cathedral to the Noto citizenship. This will be celebrated with a ceremony that will be attended by Prime Minister Romano Prodi, “Work is practically complete – said the department head of civil protection, Guido Bertolaso, following a site suvey in the Noto Cathedral – the final touch ups are under way in order to organise in the best way the restitution of this extraordinary baroque masterpiece which will be viewable in its full restored beauty”.
