AbruzzoWeb: THE SAINT BERNARDINO BASILICA IS REBORN

L’AQUILA – On May 2nd the l’Aquila citizens will finally re-enter the Saint Bernardino basilica.
On that day (the date needs only to be made official by the Curia), 6 years and one month will have passed from the last time the city was able to admire the beautiful basilica, the second after Collemaggio but the first of the two to reopen after its post earthquake restoration. A “restitution” that joins those of other sacred places, such as the Anime Sante and San Giuseppe Artigiano church also located in the town’s historic centre.
