L’AQUILA: SAINT BERNARDINO RETURNS TO HIS NEW CHURCH, THE CEREMONY

L’AQUILA – on May 20th the Solemnities for Saint Bernardino da Siena, Patron of l’Aquila, will take place.
On that day, the Saint’s urn will be returned to the second church that has been dedicated to him, the one rebuilt in Piazza d’art after the earthquake of April 6th, 2009.
The schedule of events at the San Bernardino plaza in Armi square entails welcoming the urn and the celebration of the eucharist, presided by Archbishop Monsignor Giuseppe Molinari with Auxiliary Bishop Monsignor Giovanni D’Ercole.
